Wisp is out of Griff and Tiki and younger sister to Tess. We repeated this mating in 2020 as Tess has matured so beautifully structurally, temperament, natural instinct and workability. Wisp is however quite different to Tess!

Wisp is strong eyed with a beautiful natural working instinct and very stylish. She is highly and easily trainable and has to be working something. It is very rare to see in her in an upright position if she thinks there is a remote chance she will be getting some work. She is one of those dogs who doesn't allow you to waste your training efforts and time. Show her a couple of times, let her process and from there its yeah yeah I got it the first time, what is next. She was recalling over several hundred metres on whistle command at 4 months old. She has had little training at the time of writing (6 months) as she is needing a bit of maturity first. She has a good stop on her and recall and I haven't looked at anything else and won't for several months to come. She is scared of absolutely nothing in a paddock, we discovered accidentally she won't back down from a stroppy sheep right from 8 weeks old. She will certainly be interesting and intense to train.

Around home she is a very sweet and retiring dog who is very people orientated with good play drive, reasonably independent but obedient.
